Krista: T.Y. Hilton is good player, great dad, was about how Indianapolis Colt, T.Y. Hilton is a great player and father. Hilton dedicated his touchdown to his new born daughter and after he scored he cradled the football in his hands. Hilton had been up all night taking care of his new born and was so proud and open about being a father. Hilton balances work and family well, He played to provide for his family, what a role model he is. In the article Krista wrote "But it was Hilton's vulnerability, his heart-on-his-sleeve love for his daughter, that made a nation of boisterous football fans stop their partying and take notice." In this quote Ramsey shows both diction and syntax. she uses unique uncommon words like boisterous and heart-on-his-sleeve. Using these words puts depth into the piece. In the quote Ramsey also uses lots of commas to add unique sentence structure and make the sentence feel longer than it actually is. Ramsey likes to state her opinion by giving real world topics and evidence , she also uses persuasion. In the first story she say "You see it all the time" already persuading and relating to you. In the second story she said "If we need insperation" also relating to the reader. In the story about T.Y. Hilton she stated her opinion saying "A father of two sons who loves his first daughter that much sets a standard for how to treat women." Three questions I would give Ms. Ramsey if I could is how do you find the inspiration for your pieces? How do balance writing about so many different topics compared to a normal columnist who per say only writes about sports? and Why do you do what you do?
